"along w/ my family, i've been a customer w/ agency for many years. the person whose name lies in company name is awesome, very knowledgable and quite informative esp via phone, especially if you're like me and have dumb questions. however i definitely can't say the same for their other agents unfortunately. over the past 3 years or so, i've encountered extremely bad attitudes from the other agents (unclear whether this reflects increased turnover or that there are many agents), ones who are poor w/ follow up of important info (or others who hammer call about irrelevant things), and most recently emails from them that are devoid of accurate information and are nearly impossible to follow as the English used and sentence construction and composition are so very poor. are there really. no other competent workers around any more? as a StateFarm customer, really unfortunate when rather than being able to focus on the elements of ones insurance policy, one has to struggle to get ahold of an agent who is competent and kind and be instead fearful of developing a headache from trying to decipher extremely nonsensical emails (in this case, rather than being humble and simply correcting said errors, agent became defensive and polluted my inbox w/ more missives full of misspelled gibberish - i finally had to block her, which is a first, whew!). in essence, the quality of the agents affiliated w/ this site has gone down significantly- so unless you are able to reach Jessica herself who is ofc very busy, definitely, definitely beware !!! 12/2025 update: JKnight herself has sunk to the subpar levels of the staff she oversees- horrible to try and get ahold of, her emails if you happen to receive one in a timely fashion are lacking in any useful info (she flatly refuses to answer any pertinent q's- beyond unprofessional and immature and passive aggressive), and she is the ONLY statefarm employee who showed absolutely no sympathy/empathy whatsoever when i had my first car accident recently. definitely fits the stereotype of what we've all been told about insurance agents- def one of the ones ONLY interested in signing you up for expensive policies (she "recommends not using" the policies (?) you've been paying for even if you need them and even if you've never needed their help by God's grace over 10+ years, because her company will punish you for it, how reassuring) and does not care an iota when things go wrong with you home-, car-, or health-wise. horrible, horrible experience esp in the last 3yrs, would not recommend her to anyone. there are PLENTY of agents out there, no need to stick w/ someone who has clearly become bitter and jaded and could care less. based on others' reviews incl on Yelp (esp women!!!), i am clearly not the only one who has had similarly terrible experience w/ this character! ick."

"Completely incompetent. They can't send you reminders, emails, text alerts. But the second payment is late, they're on top of it. Then trying to pay it on the app, they have the amount listed. But no vehicle info, no account number. But they're happy to take your money.... here we are again, few years later, she has all her BFF give her positive reviews. My experience as a customer over 5 yrs no claims, without my knowledge or attempts to communicate with me, she just randomly raises my home insurance by 500 dollars. Don't worry, my mortgage company notifed me. Her answer is..let's review your policy, yeah, nothing has changed, but she sure is interested in trying to sell me something else. I've emailed her several times and told her nothing has changed, still no reply. Only payment reminders work now."

"Jessica would never answer any calls of mine and would always have an assistant pick up the phone stating she was in a meeting. I ended up canceling my insurance with her and went with a better agent in the Oak Lawn area."
